According to recent reports, Abhishek finally broke his silence on divorce rumours with Aishwarya. In fact, as many news portals reported, Abhishek’s statement was not a recent one, but was taken from an old interview.

Following the premiere of Aishwarya’s 2016 film Sarbjit, Abhishek made a statement about his marriage, contrary to fresh reports. The reporter asked Abhishek if things were not going well between him and Aishwarya based on their recent public appearances together, and he replied, “I don’t need to tell you about that.”
Besides showing off his wedding ring, Abhishek confirmed that he was still married to Aishwarya. It’s okay, we’re celebrities, we have to take it. It’s okay, you’ve blown the whole thing out of proportion, but I understand why you do it. You’re all supposed to file some stories. Still married, sorry.”

The entry of Abhishek was accompanied by Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Shweta Bachchan, Navya Naveli Nanda, and Agastya Nanda, while Aishwarya arrived separately with her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan.
In the same month, Abhishek also made headlines after he liked an Instagram post on divorce amid rumours of Aishwarya’s separation.
